Applications and reserves are closed. The first floor information post is now up. Along with the game officially starting on Saturday. That means it's time to Meet and Greet! Doubles as a chance to plot for CR and shenanigans while we're at it too.

«Your Name» What you would like to be called by.
«Contact» Your preferred method of OOC contact.

«Character(s)» Include their usernames and what canon they are from.
«Personality/AU Information» Just a quick and short rundown to give other players a general idea.
«Plans for character(s)» Are they going to leave the Starting City? Stick it out in the city for a week? Or just remain in denial and hang around hoping help will come? Try and level for the first floor boss fight? A short and quick run down is fine.
«CR you would like» Basically, is there any kind of CR you would like to see for your character(s)? Positive CR or Negative CR? Things like that.

«Personality/AU Information» Sol is uhhhh an enormous jackoff LOL But usually not the sort to actively pick fights unless he's interested somehow, just more of the 'unmoving brick wall of screw you' type. He's very very lazy. Expect him to be utterly belligerent, grate on nerves, and generally be the loner jerk guy that you don't like and doesn't like you.

In this AU (for those canon-familiar), he's going to be a lot less burnt-out of a person than Sol is because he's still Frederick, so he's just a grumpy jerkish lump instead of a screwed up shell of a former man that's just waiting to die... yeah. He's also very MMO-prolific, so other characters who play in lots of MMO's may know of him, he's a bit notorious for his bad attitude and bad sportsmanship. And also for a certain noodle incident that no one else has ever quite been able to piece together with that one kid, Ky Kiske.

«Plans for character(s)» He'll probably stick around the Starting City for a bit. Directly after Kayaba's announcement an incident will occur that will traumatize him (spoilers he kills Justice his girlfriend Aria, by accident), but being the type of person he is, his way of taking that stress and guilt out will be to shut down emotionally and go into the field to start killing monsters.
After that he's going to be a severely solo beater; he probably won't be very willing to collaborate with other users even in boss-fights (as in, he'll play along, but he won't make any friends over it and he'll be totally willing to grab for a kill). However, there are certain ways to chip at the brick wall that is Sol, some of which will involve his canonmate :P

«CR you would like» I would love antagonizers, either malevolently so or in a friendly manner- like if you have a character that is just darn determined to crack through that shell and see the good in him- go for it. He's a tough nut to crack but not nearly as much so as in canon.

Ha. You can try to offend her, but her skin isn't that thin. She's known a guy like Seifer for almost two years and he's a major ass. Yet this was a guy she's totally had a thing for! So bring it on, pal.

Since I made that comment I've talked to Ky's mun and we've added a bit of a backstory even.

See, she's heard the long "Sol is bad" speeches and she's totally preached in return about second chances. This might be something that has happened more than once.

How hilarious would Sol find this? I can only imagine.

Well... maybe? She's not sure, since she's probably never spent long amounts of time in Sol's company before; however, she strongly disagrees with Ky just writing him off as all bad. So she'd at least give him a chance before really going one way or the other.

The thing about Sol is he's an enormous dick but he has some standards so he isn't willing to PK after the whole killing his gf thing and Gig will get on his bad side real hard that way :Ua Though if he knows about the incident in the other game due to his game prolificness he might just see him as an annoying brat (but vaguely sympathetic).
