The Boss: «Illfang the Kobold Lord»
Over two meters tall and muscular, Illfang is certainly the most ferocious monster the player will encounter thus far. He uses four HP bars, a bone axe, and a leather shield to attack. He also carries a meter and half long Talware weapon behind his waist. He's the first floor boss, though, so he's not as strong compared to the others to come. As such, he has three Ruin Kobold Sentinels that will also fight alongside him. Additionally, after each time he loses one of his HP bars, another three Sentinels will spawn to fight against the players.
Once his HP is down to 1/3, the Kobold Lord will be toss his weapons away in favor of different weapon. This weapon is the Nodachi which will make him capable of using katakana skills.
Players with characters that are Beta Testers, in the Beta Test the Kobold Lord did not have the Nodachi. His usage of the Nodachi is a new skill set given to him. Due to this, this will ICly be something that beta testers will have no knowledge of.
Groups
Boss Fight Log
Each party will have a thread of their own to battle against the Sentinels. There will also be a boss fight thread in which the NPC journal,nonplayer, will also participate in as the boss monster. In the boss fight thread, we ask that everyone note who will be participating alongside them in the fight against the boss in the subject.
EX: If your character wants to challenge it solo, then put "Solo" in the subject. Or, if they're with others, then put the characters names in the subject so that we may know whose reply we should be waiting for in the thread.
Last Attack Bonus
For the Last Attack Bonus, in this post we will have a thread for everyone that's interested in a chance at the bonus to sign up in. Who gets the bonus from the boss will be randomized and the person who gets the bonus will be informed of it in a reply to their sign up. They will also be told what item it is the character receives from the bonus.
