So how many characters will this be after Kayaba's announcement?
«Meet and Greet»

Applications and reserves are closed. The first floor information post is now up. Along with the game officially starting on Saturday. That means it's time to Meet and Greet! Doubles as a chance to plot for CR and shenanigans while we're at it too.

«Your Name» What you would like to be called by.
«Contact» Your preferred method of OOC contact.

«Character(s)» Include their usernames and what canon they are from.
«Personality/AU Information» Just a quick and short rundown to give other players a general idea.
«Plans for character(s)» Are they going to leave the Starting City? Stick it out in the city for a week? Or just remain in denial and hang around hoping help will come? Try and level for the first floor boss fight? A short and quick run down is fine.
«CR you would like» Basically, is there any kind of CR you would like to see for your character(s)? Positive CR or Negative CR? Things like that.

«Character(s)» Rinoa Heartilly - Final Fantasy VIII

«Personality/AU Information» Rinoa's outgoing, friendly, and extremely sociable. She's not a big fan of being alone and sometimes it seems like it's her goal to make sure other people aren't alone either.
An experienced gamer, Rinoa is at her best when she's working with a group. She's also deeply committed to helping other players/helping clear the game. Odds are she's going to end up on the front lines fairly often. That said, she's also committed to enjoying herself as best as she can too. There's a chance that their days in game might be their last, better make sure to have no regrets just in case. Also, since she can't cook in real life? You can bet she's totally going to work hard to solve cooking in game.

«Plans for character(s)» Rinoa's not a beater. That said, she's already familiar with finding the starting rhythm from playing other games so her priorities are going to be two-fold: leveling to help clear the levels and helping other players/making sure they're safe. It's very likely she's going to end up starting or at least helping to start a guild in the near future, or something along those lines as guilds are important to her.

«CR you would like» Right now? Anything goes. Positive CR, Negative CR. Basically I just want all your CR.

Leveling buddies/party regulars and people interested in front-lines combat would be especially awesome. Also quiet characters who tend to be withdrawn that she can annoy if there are any?

Anyway, Rena's probably be one of the frontline players that work ceaselessly to clear the game as well as helping people, so comrades?

Zell would be hilarious in an MMO setting, we were talking about it on plurk the other day. And I quote a friend of mine "Zell is that annoying guy in guild who's still there because he's buddy to the Guild Leader and he's really funny as hell." when we were talking over the idea of "SeeD is a srs bsns gaming guild".

uggggh so tempted but I have to replay FF8 first, all I can think of when it comes to Zell are the words 'chicken wuss' and 'hotdogs'. Now where is my PSX and my discs... last time I played I ragequit when Malboros appeared out of nowhere and Bad Breath'd my ass. That, ladies and gentlemen, is why you remember to save often and not between hour long segments without.

I seem to have made it my goal to collect every optimistic person for Yuki to draw her out more. Yuki really wants to help but she's more of a stay on the side lines type of person until like, she's really needed, so she's going to becomea blacksmith and quietly hone her own sword skills.

I thought about joining the Rakuen game once, so I ended up reading the manga. Never joined the game in the end, but I did enjoy the manga!

In return she promises to not feed Yuki any food that she's cooked personally.

That said, I was considering having Sora start or help start a guild called Crimson Sky or the like that would aim to nurture and protect players... but as charismatic as she is, she'd need prodding into it because she knows nothing about MMORPGs.

That shouldn't be hard to do. Sora vows to protect all the girls people after she stumbles across Gig bullying those three NPC player character gals int he intro post and then it just snowballs from there? Heck, Rinoa's trying to make him say sorry. So far as I'm concerned she can jump into the thread and chew him out too.
