Applications and reserves are closed. The first floor information post is now up. Along with the game officially starting on Saturday. That means it's time to Meet and Greet! Doubles as a chance to plot for CR and shenanigans while we're at it too.

«Personality/AU Information» Just a quick and short rundown to give other players a general idea.
«Plans for character(s)» Are they going to leave the Starting City? Stick it out in the city for a week? Or just remain in denial and hang around hoping help will come? Try and level for the first floor boss fight? A short and quick run down is fine.
«CR you would like» Basically, is there any kind of CR you would like to see for your character(s)? Positive CR or Negative CR? Things like that.

«Personality/AU Information» For a full rundown of her personality and AU. For those familiar with her series, both her personality and background is a mixture of the main Higurashi (BEFORE LEARNING THE POWER OF MIRACLES AND BREAKING FATE) series and the "what-if" world from Higurashi Rei.

Anyway, Rika's an eleven-year-old girl. She shouldn't even be playing SAO! She lied about her age and will initially turn up in-game using an older-looking avatar... until the mirror item takes effect. Rika's usually pretty nice, cute, and talks... way younger sometimes. She's also rather spoiled and dependent on others. She uses cutesy verbal tics and goes "mii" (kitten mew), "nipa", and describes situations with sounds, sometimes. Like she'll say "pachi pachi/clap clap" while clapping her hands together.

All that cute stuff is really a mask (and she is capable of talking normally. Haha.) and she's actually pretty depressed and lonely because a lot of her friends in the real world moved away. Weh.

Oh and... Erika from Umineko is her big sister in this AU. They look alike!

«Plans for character(s)» She'll leave the Starting City to level as long as she has people to party with. She won't risk her life going after the boss though. Rika wants to play it safe.

I might have her win a Cooking Set and maybe go watch Erika chase a cow.
«CR you would like» I'm fine with any CR! Positive or negative. She misses her old friends! People can try to befriend her. She'll act nice because she doesn't want to make enemies, but it may take her some time to genuinely accept a new person as her friend.

Awww this is exactly the kind of character that Sol's few redeeming qualities would show for, because while he hates everyone he also can't be legitimately mean to innocent kids like her :[ Especially lonely, sad ones. Annoyed, but not mean!

He'd do small favors for her, maybe >: When he thinks no one's looking. Like make sure she doesn't get KO'd by monsters...

Rika is an MMO newb and while she'll mostly be trying to party up with people, she might eventually recklessly solo something. He can def. make sure she doesn't get killed out there... |D

Though admittedly, Rinoa's the sort who'd probably refuse to let her help in the boss fights even if Rika had wanted to come along. It's dangerous and you're so little, no can do.

Yes, Rinoa. Come party up with Rika. She'll think Rinoa's useful. mO_Om She's mostly partying up with other people because she'd rather have others get their hands dirty for her EXP LEECHING??... and it also ensures her survival in the game.

I'm hoping to have Rika develop in-game as someone who is less dependent on others, more concerned about other peoples' lives (instead of viewing them as useful, disposable pieces LOL) and more willing to go to a boss fight in the future. For now though, she's staying the hell away from the front lines and doing her best to survive. Haha.

I've actually thought about having her as a beast tamer too! ;A; But at the moment, I'm not sure how I'd go about that ICly.

Rinoa's super useful, even if she's just as lowly leveled as everyone else right now. Does this game even have exp leeching? I don't remember if it' come up in the anime, but I know not all games have it. Only one of the reasons why GW2 is so boss. That's what Rinoa's there for! To help people get stronger and help ensure that they survive!

Somehow I'm not sure if she's going to be willing to let people that young come for boss fights later either, especially since they're just going to get harder the higher up they go. Though I imagine she can be convinced if they're determined enough, she's not entirely unreasonable. Her name isn't Squall after all

I'm sure something will work out. Sounds like it's not the easiest thing, but if nothing else can Rika resist the allure of "A cute monster who does things for me"?

Oh good. :D Rika will be finding plenty of useful people in SAO. Hmm. I'm actually not sure if they have EXP leeching. I think there's the Last Attack Bonus though. I'd imagine Rika would at least try to deal a few hits and get the Last Attack Bonus on monsters or something. Not sure if it applies to non-boss monsters though.

Rika might grow into the RECKLESSLY DETERMINED type one day. It would be good for Rinoa to try stopping her.

WELL If she finds out that cute monster can heal, she might wanna get in on that.
